Virgin Mary

The “Virgin Mary”, Mother of God”, was a woman born in Nazareth in Galilee. She is mentioned in the Bible, New Testament and in the Quran as the holy mother of Jesus.

The gospels of Matthew and Luke describe Mary as a virgin and many believe that she conceived the Lord Jesus Christ miraculously by the will of God. Mary gave birth to Lord Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah and son of God.

In the New Testament account of Mary’s life begins with the Annunciation, when the archangel Gabriel appeared to her and announced her divine selection to be mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible records Mary’s role in key events of the life of the Lord Jesus Christ from his conception to his Ascension. The Apocryphal writings tell of her subsequent death and bodily assumption into heaven.

Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ birth is from the New Testament books of Matthew and Luke in the Bible. It gives a biblical account of the events surrounding the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

While Mary was still engaged to Joseph, she miraculously became pregnant through the Holy Spirit, as foretold to her by the angel. When Mary told Joseph she was pregnant, he had every right to feel disgraced.

But God sent an angel to Joseph in a dream to verify Mary’s story and reassure him that his marriage to her was God’s will. The angel explained that the Holy Spirit conceived the child within Mary; that his name would be Jesus and that he was the Messiah, God with us.

When Joseph woke from his dream, he willingly obeyed God and took Mary home to be his wife, in spite of the public humiliation he would face. Perhaps this noble quality is one of the reasons God chose him to be the Messiah’s earthly father.

Later in Bethlehem, Mary gave birth to Jesus in a crude stable. She wrapped the baby in cloths and placed him in a manger.

In the fields, an angel of God appeared to shepherds who were tending their sheep at night. The angel announced that the Lord Jesus Christ had been born in the town of David.

At this time wise men (Magi) from the east looked into the sky and saw the moon and stars and the light in the sky was bright, they came in search, knowing the star signified the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The wise men follow the star in search of the newborn king and found Lord Jesus Christ with his mother in Bethlehem.

They bowed and worshipped him, offering treasures of gold, incense, and myrrh but the biggest gift of all was the Eternal Life given by God to men which is forever engraved and immortalize in the moon for all see and believe in the truth, the light and the way of the Lord Jesus Christ.
